The Michael Monaghan Scholars
The NZSO National Mentoring Programme is an exciting opportunity for young music students to pair up with one of the NZSO musicians to receive mentoring as well as access to NZSO rehearsals and concerts throughout 2013. The programme will culminate in a performance opportunity with the NZSO for selected students in 2014.
- Applications are welcome from music students aged between 13 and 18.
- Students must be Grade 5 or over, on an orchestral instrument.
- Applications will be assessed by a panel of NZSO principals.
- The mentoring sessions will take place in the main centres to which the NZSO tour.
- Students from outside these centres are welcome to apply but are responsible for their own transport costs.
The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce the successful Mentoring students for 2013.
