Friends

The NZSO is grateful for the support of the Friends of the NZSO
groups in Wellington and Christchurch.

ACTIVITIES

These membership groups participate in activities linked to the life
of the orchestra such as attending:

• private rehearsals
• symphony seminars with guest artists
• informal talks and presentations

FUNDRAISING

The Friends of the NZSO also carry out fundraising activities to
support the NZSO’s long term goals. The income generated from these activities
is distributed through programmes such as:

• the National Youth Orchestra
• the purchase of new instruments

Tue November 22: Seminar with Mable Wong and Melissa King/Murray Alford

Wellington Friends events are for members only. Most require payment to attend.
