The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra relies on the generosity of its supporters. A bequest to the NZSO Foundation, whether modest or substantial, helps the Orchestra to continue bringing quality performances of orchestral works to life and making them available for all New Zealanders to enjoy.
Monies that come to the Orchestra from a bequest are invested as an endowment fund and the interest from these funds is used in support of the NZSO. Your gift keeps on giving for years to come.
As a special part of the NZSO family you are invited to become a part of the Vincent Aspey Society; established to acknowledge and honour those who have decided to make provision in their Will for the NZSO.
Involvement with the Vincent Aspey Society includes invitations to exclusive NZSO events, your name in NZSO programmes (if desired), receiving a welcome memento and regular updates on the NZSO’s activities.
Should you make the special decision to leave a bequest in your Will to the NZSO Foundation, please let us know. That way we can acknowledge you appropriately now, for a gift that will help secure the future of our great Orchestra.

“Since 1946 our National Orchestra has enriched the lives of New Zealanders. In addition to concerts performed throughout the country, our players have been crucial as role models and teachers for the next generation of professional musicians. Now, under our Music Director, Pietari Inkinen, the NZSO is delivering a no-compromises symphonic experience of unparalleled quality. This Orchestra is a national treasure, a taonga, one that we all want to flourish for generations to come. There can be no better way of ensuring this than by making provision for the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Foundation in our wills.”
