Education Programme Sponsorship
The main goal of our education programme is to inspire, encourage and educate people of all ages in the enjoyment of music. To continue to expand our programme nationwide, we urgently need to commit greater resources to this important part of NZSO activity.

Regrettably, our school system does not currently have the resources to empower that talent. That is where the NZSO’s education programme – and, in particular, broad family-based events like the Melvin Tix tour – can help. Opening up the world of music to young people brings rewards that go beyond the enjoyment of musical performance. Studies have shown that children who discover their own musical talent have increased self esteem and, as a consequence, achieve more in other areas of learning”.
