Becoming an NZSO Supporter means you can enjoy a range of acknowledgements including invitations to special events.

The events are tailored to our supporter levels

 

June

Saturday 12 June, 10am
Michael Fowler Centre, Wellington
Bronze Level Supporters ($500+) are invited to an open rehearsal of the Russian Romantics tour, featuring Freddy Kempf and Alexander Lazarev, followed by a lunch with some of the NZSO musicians and Peter Walls, Chief Executive.

Auckland Town Hall
Sonnets Unplugged Education Concert based on a new commission of Shakespeare Sonnets set to music by New Zealand composer Gareth Farr. NZSO Supporters are invited to attend this concert, and join with the actors and conductor Hamish McKeich afterwards for afternoon tea.

A post-concert dinner and auction at the City Gallery, hosted by NZSO Musical Director Pietari Inkinen

Waikato University Music Department, Hamilton
NZSO Foundation Masterclass, with visiting international cellist Li-Wei. He will hear promising young cello students, and work with them in this masterclass setting.

NZSO Education Concert: NZSO Supporters are invited to attend this concert to see the NZSO introducing orchestral music to school children, and enjoy a cup of tea with performers afterwards.
