What is a Season Ticket?
Season tickets include 3 or more concerts of your choice from the NZSO’s main season. Save up to 30% off standard single ticket prices and if you’re 35 or under, save even more.
In Auckland and Wellington choose our 5 Friday or 5 Saturday performances and you’ll also receive the same seat at each concert as well as the discount. These seats are renewable from year-to-year.*
In Christchurch, Dunedin, Hamilton and Napier, choose all concerts in the main season and enjoy the same seat at each event, renewable from year-to-year.*
In Palmerston North, Early Bird special prices apply. You can pre-purchase tickets to our October 15, 2012 concert at season price rates.
*This offer only applies for our usual venues in each city.
For Season Ticket Holders

- Easy ticket exchanges
If your plans change, you can call us to exchange your tickets for another performance in the season. It’s a free service if arranged 48 hours in advance in the same seating category.You can also donate your ticket back to the NZSO and we’ll send you a receipt for a tax-deduction, or arrange to pass your seat on to a music student if you prefer.
Easy Payment plan
Only Season Ticket Holders can secure seats now and then pay in four easy instalments or defer total payment until 18 February 2012.
Privileges in other cities
Season Ticket Holders enjoy reciprocal rights for other cities and venues. You can exchange an existing booking for an NZSO performance in another city, subject to seating availability.
35 Down
If you’re aged 35 or under on 1 January 2012, you can see the NZSO for only $26 a performance. Just apply for a Season Ticket (3 main season events or more).

Normally $10, Season Ticket Holders get them for $5.
Free access to the NAXOS music library
Season Ticket Holders will receive free, unlimited use of the Naxos Music Library until 1November 2012. This annual service is worth over $300.The most comprehensive collection of classical music online, the Naxos Library contains more than 830,000 tracks of music of all genres. Season Ticket Holders will receive their Naxos user name and password with their 2012 season tickets. Once logged in, you will be able to listen to playlists previewing our 2012 season as well as create your own soundtracks. Details will be sent with your Season Tickets.
NZSO National Youth Orchestra
Hear the NZSO National Youth Orchestra as our guest. Every Season Ticket Holder receives one complimentary seat at a performance by the NYO. Come along, be inspired, and show your support for tomorrow’s greats.

Find out more about the music. There are free, informative pre-concert talks 45 minutes before most performances. Details at nzso.co.nz.
Family
We love the idea of young people coming to our events. Purchase a family ticket for any main season performance for 1 adult and 2 young people (under 18) for just $60. Bring their young friends for just another $15 each. For advice about the best events, call us on 0800 479 674.
Open Season
Purchase an Open Season Pass for complete flexibility and discounted tickets or an NZSO Gift Voucher as a present for someone special. Both can be used for NZSO tickets and recordings. Call us on 0800 479 674.
