Kia Kotahi: He Toirangi Ā-Ao Kia Harikoa - All Together: A Global Ode to Joy

Due to the ongoing lockdown restrictions, we’ve made the very difficult decision to cancel our performance of Kia Kotahi, scheduled for Saturday 11 September in Wellington.

We know that many of our supporters were looking forward to this unique concert experience. We had previously been forced to postpone Kia Kotahi last year due to the pandemic.

While it is always a difficult decision to cancel any NZSO concert, the sheer scale of Kia Kotahi and the number of people involved has made it impossible to postpone the performance to another date.

We share your sadness and frustration that Kia Kotahi will no longer go ahead. NZSO players, contributing artists, and the hundreds of singers involved were all ready to embark on what would be one of the highlights of the year for our audiences. At the same time, we hope you will be understanding of the immense challenges we face.

What matters most for the NZSO is the health and safety of our audiences and supporters around the country. Our thoughts are with all of you and we hope that everyone is safe and well – and looking out for each other.

If you have purchased tickets to Kia Kotahi you will be contacted directly to confirm what you want to do with your ticket(s) for this cancelled concert.
