Partnership Executive

Bring your development skills to one of New Zealand’s most iconic performing arts organisations.

  • Play a critical part in the future success of the Orchestra
  • Step into a role that offers a real sense of reward
  • Part of a high performing team

If you’re after a role that offers variety, challenge and a real sense of reward, you’ve come to the right place.

The New Zealand Symphony Orchestra is highly respected not only in New Zealand but around the world. Throughout our 71-year history we have charmed audiences with memorable and exhilarating concerts and recordings.  We continue to grow and develop artistically, taking inspiring and varied programmes of music to communities throughout New Zealand.

We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Partnership Executive to join our small, but high performing Development team.

Reporting to the Development Manager, you’ll lead the maintenance and cultivation of corporate partnerships managing associated events and opportunities as well as playing a key role in building the NZSO brand.

You will be a confident individual who thrives on connecting with others.  Your experience in corporate sponsorship and partner development will put you in good stead for this role, and your relationship management skills and your ability to work with board members, senior managers and key stakeholders is second to none. You will also have knowledge of event and project management, and be able to think creatively with excellent time management and attention to detail. There will be some irregular hours and some travel involved. And, needless to say, your interest in music and knowledge of the arts will go far here.

If you’re ready to step up and make your mark on one of New Zealand’s most influential creative institutions, we’d love to hear from you.
