OPEN REHEARSALS

In 2022, the NZSO will open numerous rehearsals across the year for school students to attend. These open rehearsals will be at the Michael Fowler Centre or Te Rauparaha Arena and are free to attend. Schools from outside of Wellington can request alternative dates providing the orchestra is rehearsing.

Dates and times available are as follows:

Fri, 1 Apr, 10am

Thu, 12 May, 10am

Wed, 18 May, 10am - rehearsals at Te Rauparaha Arena

Wed, 27 July, 10am

Wed, 5 Oct, 10am

Fri, 28 Oct, 10am - rehearsals at Te Rauparaha Arena

*Limited to 100 students per rehearsal

*Rehearsals are 2.5 hours, with an option to leave at the break, approx. 75 minutes in.
