NZSO Foundation Endowment Fund
Leaving a bequest
Since our first concert in 1947, the NZSO has championed Aotearoa New Zealand composers, supported local artists, and built an international reputation for excellence across classical, contemporary and commissioned works.
Our musicians and educators inspire people of all ages, and our national touring programme brings unforgettable musical experiences to communities across the country.
A bequest to the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra Foundation ensures we can continue to invite people of all backgrounds to experience the magic of live symphonic music for generations to come.
When you pledge a gift in your will to the NZSO Foundation, you become part of an exclusive group of like-minded champions who share a vision for a thriving future for the NZSO. Best of all, a bequest allows you to make a meaningful contribution, without affecting your finances during your lifetime.
Vincent Aspey played a formative role in shaping the artistic legacy of the NZSO as concertmaster (1946–1967), and it is in honour of his enduring commitment to the national orchestra that the NZSO Foundation’s bequest programme was originally established.
Thank you for considering a lasting gift to the future of music in Aotearoa.
