New Zealand is at Alert Level 1.
Have any NZSO concerts been postponed or cancelled due to any changes in Alert Levels in 2021?
All performances 4-7 March were postponed while at Alert Level 2. This included The Soldier's Tale performances in Wanaka, Dunedin, Oamaru and Ashburton, Town and Country, the Peter and the Wolf school concerts and the Relaxed Concert performances in Invercargill and Dunedin.
How do I get a refund on my tickets?
If you bought your ticket through a ticketing agency, the agency will contact you soon. NZSO Subscribers, schools, and people who registered for Relaxed Concert tickets, will be contacted directly by the NZSO.
Will the NZSO look at rescheduling the postponed concerts?
The NZSO is looking at options so that we can still present the concerts in Wanaka, Invercargill, Dunedin, Oamaru and Ashburton later this year.

Due to our 4-7 March concerts being postponed, we are considering whether to stream concert performances to the nation in the first week of March.

Is the NZSO’s Wellington office open to the public for ticket enquiries?
Yes. The office is open to the public Monday-Friday, 10am-4pm. In line with Ministry of Health guidelines, all visitors must use hand sanitiser provided, and check-in using the NZ COVID Tracer app or our sign-in register for contact tracing.
What is the NZSO doing to keep patrons safe?
We are in contact with each venue where we perform and what extra precautionary measures each venue is taking, such as tracking, additional hand sanitisers and disinfecting areas within each venue that many people use.
The venues are following Ministry of Health guidelines.
How is the NZSO monitoring Covid-19?
We continue to monitor the global situation, following the guidelines and daily updates issued by the Ministry of Health.
How does the NZSO plan to notify patrons regarding concert changes due to the Covid-19?
In the event of a change or cancellation of planned events, we will notify subscription ticket buyers before the event via email. If you bought your ticket from a ticketing agency, the ticketing agency will contact you.
If you need to exchange a ticket and are an NZSO subscriber, contact NZSO Ticketing at 0800 479 674 or email@example.com. Otherwise, contact the ticketing agency where you purchased the ticket.
Additionally, we will include updates on the NZSO Facebook and Twitter accounts and our website on any changes or cancellations.
I feel unwell. Should I attend a concert I have a ticket for?
The Ministry of Health advice for anyone who feels unwell is to not attend a public event. If you are an NZSO subscriber, you can exchange your Podium Series concert ticket for another Podium Series concert. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0800 479 674. If you purchased your ticket from a ticketing agency, please contact the agency directly. Refunds will only be issued in the event of a cancellation.
I don’t feel safe in public spaces, may I have a refund?
