Cost: $5 per student/teacher
A service fee of $10 will apply to each booking.
Student numbers: We require a ratio of 1 teacher for every 9 students in Years 1-6, up to a maximum of 5 additional parents or teachers.
This teacher ratio requirement does not apply to intermediate, high school, homeschool and private music groups.
All bookings must include a minimum of 8 people.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time.
Featuring spectacular storm-inspired music by Beethoven, Vivaldi and more, Symphonic Storms takes students from calm landscapes to swirling winds, torrential rain and crashing thunder.
Guided by NZSO Music Education Animateur Chris Lam Sam, students will discover how composers use the orchestra to depict the forces of nature, and join in themselves with The Rain Storm, an interactive body-percussion piece performed by the whole audience. Get ready to make some noise and weather the storm with the NZSO!
Booking is essential: seats are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
