Tags
Join the NZSO on a journey through the world of feelings!
Duration:
1 hour
Type:
Schools Concert
Information
Cost: $5 per student/teacher
Student numbers: We require a ratio of 1 teacher for every 9 students in Years 1-6, up to a maximum of 5 additional parents or teachers.
This teacher ratio requirement does not apply to intermediate, high school, homeschool and private music groups.
All bookings must include a minimum of 8 people.
Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start time.

Inspired by the award-winning book How Do I Feel? by Rebekah Lipp and Craig Phillips, this concert blends vibrant music, captivating illustrations, and plenty of audience participation.
Guided by NZSO Music Education Animateur Chris Lam Sam, students will hear music that bursts with soaring happiness, sinks into deep sadness, buzzes with the jittery excitement of Rimsky-Korsakov’s Flight of the Bumblebee, and gallops with the triumphant energy of Beethoven’s 7th Symphony.
With the NZSO as their guide, students will see, hear, feel, and even sing about how music can bring every emotion to life!
Booking is essential: seats are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
