Regent on Broadway is one of the top performing arts centres in New Zealand

  • Wheelchair access is available from the side ramp next to the theatre via the Regent Arcade.
  • Visitors using wheelchairs can access the auditorium via the Stalls (downstairs seating). There is also access via the Mezzanine, the Regency Room, and the Rehearsal Room
  • The lift is on the ground floor opposite the CentrePort bar (Regent Arcade side of the building). This gives access to the foyer areas of each of the floors
  • There are 2 wheelchairs on site, which are available if required. Wheelchair seating is available in the Stalls in two locations in Row G and two locations in Row H
  • You can find mobility parking at the front of the venue on Broadway Avenue
  • There is a hearing loop system within the Auditorium, and earplugs are available.

Regent on Broadway

The venue boasts a large function room and a rehearsal studio on the second floor. The Auditorium can seat 1393 people; 721 in the Stalls (ground floor) and 672 in the Circle (upstairs). It remains the only large theatre in the greater Palmerston North area.
